NISAR Python Cookbook¶
ASF has developed a Python Cookbook for accessing and working with NISAR data.
There are several ways to access the cookbook content:
NISAR Cookbook Website: View notebooks
NISAR Cookbook GitHub Repository: Download and execute notebooks
Users who wish to work with the NISAR Cookbook alongside the archive in the AWS Cloud can sign up for an OpenScienceLab account to apply for OpenSARLab access. Working directly in the same cloud environment as the archive is the most efficient way to access large volumes of NISAR data.
NISAR Science Algorithms¶
The NISAR Science Team has developed algorithms for a number of higher-level products. These algorithms are available as executable Python notebooks, and development efforts are made either in the NISAR Science Algorithms GitLab group or in NISAR Science Algorithms GitHub repositories.
InSAR Processing and Analysis (ISCE+) Technical Course¶
The EarthScope Consortium offers an annual InSAR processing and analysis course using the isce framework. The Jupyter notebooks for the course offered in August 2026, which was focused on using NISAR data, are available through the 2026-isceplus GitHub repository.
